Missionary Series of rods are 6 piece travel rods. Say goodbye to clunky,
big 2 piece tubes that won't travel in anything but that Old 1970 Country
Squire Wagon your Uncle had. Several years ago I was one of the first dealers
in the USA to offer 6 and 7 piece travel rods. I am proud to be one
of the first USA dealers to offer this line of rods that is well made, casts
well and is reasonably priced. Just terrific! I love everything about these
rods.
These travel rods will literally fit into almost any sort of travel bag, carry on luggage and can also be put into a large brief case. These are also ideal rods for back packing, mountain biking or strap one of these to the back of your Harley for a fun cruise up into the woods! One of the wonderful features about these rods are is that each section is marked with the size and weights. If you have several of these rods it is impossible to get the sections mixed up. There are also alignment dots so that each of the sections can be lined up as you string up the rod. Missionary rods have a fast mid to tip action with a perfect balance. All rods have a deep polished claret finish and come with rugged anodized aluminum reel seat for years of use. Smaller trout sizes have reversed half wells handles, while the larger heavy rods come with fighting butts. Greys also is one of the first to offer spey rods in a 6 pieces.
